Nicole King, DVM

Dr. Nicole King grew up in Muskegon, Michigan and currently resides in Cumberland, Maine. She received an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and received her DVM degree from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the Brackett Street Veterinary Hospital team, Dr. King practiced at Shaver Road Animal Hospital in Portage, Michigan and Midcoast Animal Emergency Hospital in Warren, Maine. Her special interests include radiology, ultrasound, emergency and critical care, sports medicine, and ophthalmology.

Outside of work, Dr. King enjoys running (half marathon distance), equestrian sports (dressage and endurance), reading (she LOVES the Harry Potter series), hiking, and exploring coastal Maine with her fiance and their dogs in the summer. She has a Plott hound named, Whiskey Ann, a medium sized mixed breed named, Eloise and a regal orange Persian mix named Rupert.
